The Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) Tanzania has recently rolled out a Workshop on Implementation of the International Professional Practices Framework (IPPF).The workshop was held at Tanga Beach Resort in Tanga municipality.
The Workshop was well attended and it focused on providing opportunity for participants to; Understand: the IPPF and Standards, why are the Standars important, the Mandatory Guidance, the Strongly recommended Guidance and implementation of the Standards.
IIA Tanzania used three of its world class trainers namely, Emmanuel Johannes, Juma Kimori and Alphonce Muro, fully met the participants’ expectations. Here’s the testimony from one the attendees “It is now much more easy for me to apply the IPPF in my audit work, it was gorgeous workshop”, Giniva Sanga.
The IPPF and its components are key to those who rely on and use the services of internal audit, working in internal audit profession as well as those who are responsible for overseeing internal auditing, such as audit committees and senior management. Those who oversee the internal audit need to have a basis by which to measure internal audit effectiveness.
The IPPF Implementation Course can also be provided to individual organizations as in-house program.
